His enchanting gaze, pure ecstasy
captivates the mind with
swells of inner joy.
His tantalizing words are honey sweet,
a ceremonial wine of celebration
teasing, warm like an Indian summer.
And then he laughs:
An effervescent crystal laugh
more musical than any melody composed.
He reaches out his hand
his magical fingers caress and
awaken my hidden self from deep within
Immersed in euphoric bliss
I know I have seen the heavens.
