ANATOMY OF PEACE

A virtue.  A state of mind.  An attitude of the heart.
A sacrifice: putting the good of another, above one's self.
It is the voluntary laying aside of strife.

PEACE IS BORN OF LOVE

It is not attained.  It is OBtained.  It is a gift, given.
It is the nth degree of lovingkindness.

PEACE IS DIVINE

It IS a word, carelessly tossed around:
Spoken highly of, while being USED
as a means, to an end.

It is NOT a violation of one's integrity
or conscience.
Nor a compensation.

PEACE IS TRUTH

It is NOT hypocritical:
proclaiming "enhanced quality of life for ALL",
while committing ghastly acts of MURDER
the very moment, A NEW LIFE
parts the womb.

PEACE IS LIVING HARMONY

Beware! of any, who speak of "united peace".
Mere Mortal Man is not the giver
of permeating, and all-consuming peace.

Genuine peace is offered - and obtained -
 only by the grace of God.

PEACE IS CHRIST
