UPPER ROOM PENTECOST

On the day of Pentecost
Disciples of the LORD
Were gathered in the Upper Room,
All of one accord...

When WHOOOOSH! there came a Holy Wind
That filled the House with Power:
The Holy Spirit sat on THEM,
And filled their tongues with Fire!

When the Fire-Baptism was complete
Emboldened, Saint Peter began to preach...

Thus, appearing before the Crowd,
While waxing bold and wise,
The Holy Spirit SPOKE through him -
And SAINT PETE EVANGELIZED!

So when others tend to ask ME, "What are YOU?"
I will never be stumped or lost -
I will simply reply, with a gleam in my eye,
"Why, I'm UPPER ROOM PENTECOST!"
