*The Choice
Music&Lyrics: Rhonda S. Galizia

I just want
to sit and bask
In the warmth of your love
I don't want to talk about
What I've suffered from
What I've suffered from...
I just want to
feel
The silence of your voice
And to quietly remember...
You did not have a choice

Because you hoped, to save me
For I could not, save myself
Thereby, you created, the situation
Where you alone, could be, my Help!

I just want to sit and bask
In the beauty of your love;
How can I, discuss
What I am guilty of
What I am guilty of...

I just want to remember
You've suffered more than me
And that still, I find you here
...waiting endlessly
...waiting endlessly!

I just want to hear
The silence of your voice
When you took my stripes
So I could have the choice.

Because you hoped, to save me
For I could not, save myself
So you created, a situation
Where you alone, could be, my Help!

I just want to sit and bask
In the truth of your smile
I don't want to try to explain
nor do I know how...
I just want to touch
The silence of your voice
When you loved me
Most of all
So I could have...the choice

Because you hoped to save me
For I could not save myself
So you created, my situation
Where you alone, could be, my Help!

I just want to sit and bask
In the warmth of your love
My Saviour
There's no need to talk about
What I have suffered from
What I have suffered from...
For I can truly
feel
The silence of your voice
As I quietly remember
Making YOU...my choice.

Oh the eyes to see and the ears to hear what so much of this world cannot, but so desperately needs.

You have affected my life in inexpressible ways Rhonda!

You are certainly one of the shining beacons here, and I imagine that in your church and hometown that the light of your calling shines undauntingly.
