The future of the Earth and the future of man are very much dependant upon one another. Let us work for our children and our children’s children’s future

Poem Artwork

I was here to see every creature as each one was created.

I know in what way they were and are related.

I watched the creation of man who would be my friend.

But gloom has fallen upon me to see our friendship end.

Man was once satisfied to live in harmony with what I could give.

As years went past he began to ask for more comforts to live.

He ceased to consider the consequences of these selfish desires.

He considered not the impact on the weather or the creation of destructive fires.

He seemed to no longer care for the doom he brings upon generations to come.

Man has become impassioned with destructive forces that devastate the ecology which is where his sources of future life will come from.

Now I look upon man with a sad and lonely heart and fear I will soon come to an end.

It hurts for I now cannot tell if man is my worst enemy for he seems to be no longer my friend.

It's no wonder Mother Earth hurts. I've been her most avid fan for since I can remember. Thanks for this. Love and best wishes,

How sad indeed, but children are notoriously the most selfish creatures, and having a logical brain that sees no limits to it greed, not intelligent enaugh though, if not just morally adept, to see the destruction he is venting on his own MOTHER the one that sustains him, and in the process kills along with it all of God's creation. No wonder She's asking that question! Wonderful work of deep philosophical thought about our nature, a question that should concern the world immediatly today! Blessings! Jasmin Horst

Virolution by Frank Ryan

Our human genome is full of viruses similar to HIV-1. These have played an important role in human evolution and still play an important role in human embryology and day-to-day chemistry. Just how important are they to our evolution past and future?

Darwin's Blind Spot by Frank Ryan

The symbiotic pattern of evolution is everywhere and allows us a very different and fascinating window into the way symbiotic viruses work, since all viruses are symbiotic, including those involved in our human reproduction.
