I know Nothing—
Which says Something.

“Take That Look off your face!”
Defiant inside
“What Look?”
Stubborn and still defiant
“That LOOK that says
You’ve forgotten who is in charge!”
I will not answer, but she’s wrong…
I do know who is in charge,
and I don’t like it!
Years later~
The LOOK has been
Carefully crafted
To hide truth.
It is a pleasant, bland face
--That actually hides nothing
Because it’s still
That LOOK.
Learning to LOVE has changed
My version of
That Look
--Into a Smile—
A soul/consciousness
Who has learned to
SEE first.
--Look later.
