Letting Go Sometimes the best laid plans, take us to and fro. No matter how we work it out, we just have to let it go. The world is full of choices. We make them while we can. But choices don't make us wise, the fallibility of man. We all want to hold on to love, at least that's what we know. But love is a fickle thing, and we must let it go. Life is what we make of it, we choose our path so well. But life does not go our way, like the ocean swell. Sometimes up, sometimes down, sometimes heaven, sometimes hell. The only real certainty in life, is that we must let go. Copyright 2007 � Ronald W. Hull 9/15/07

Eventually we will all have to let go of our lives. This poem smacks of a bittersweet poignancy Ron - one of your best!

Letting go is often times the most difficult choice any of us can make in life - "... sometimes heaven, sometimes hell ..." It is easier to hang on, at least we know what to expect, but letting go ...

I let go of the person...the mortal who made a mockery of love and kept the unlocked emotions and inner light that was opened before the mortality died. Love is the most exillurating emotion known to man and at the same time, the one emotion that is used as a catalyst for selfish reasons. To love without selfishness is the epitome of love's treasures.
