I haven't always behaved like the loving big brother,
My mistakes and ignorance sometimes got in the way.
But with age and maturity has come a realization
That there's something to you I need to say.
Through my growing pains and trials, you supported me,
Your jokes and talks laced with genuine concern.
When pressures were weighing down upon me,
You were one of the few to whom I could turn.
In the light of my good fortune I wanted you there,
Sharing the validation for the work I have done.
But the real triumph was appreciating family,
Knowing that in the struggle to repair bridges, I've won.
We weren't as close as I would've liked growing up,
Being uniquely different, we had warring minds.
With age, however, respect is setting in,
Making our common denominators easier to find.
As we both set out to fulfil our destinies,
May growing closer to each other be one of our goals.
For you, Alvin Webb, make me proud to be your brother,
And I thank you for helping me be true to my soul.
I am also an artist registered with VSA and Author, but at that time I was just painting, again your work is excellent.
My brotha I know your face, I recognize the VSA I think we had a show in Washington D.C. it was in the beginning of the 90's
I have to reflect back on my documents, I remeber your name, at that time the gallery was in Washington D.C. If I recall their was an image done of Martin Luther King.

My brotha I know your face, I recognize the VSA I think we had a show in Washington D.C. it was in the beginning of the 90's
I have to reflect back on my documents, I remeber your name, at that time the gallery was in Washington D.C. If I recall their was an image done of Martin Luther King.
Blest be those that don't get shy to say "I LOVE YOU", and let the world know that they feel love.
