The work of the architect and the construction crew combined

Pales in comparison to what a colony of ants can do

And honey bees I challenge you to find

A factory that runs with equaled efficiency

Gentle benevolence shines in the large and liquid eyes

Of equines and bovines alike

 They have come to serve and do so with dignity

When indeed they could, crush us with just one blow

Canines serve with unquestioned loyalty

So often undeserved and unappreciated

Happy independent felines

Emit joy just in their essence of being

Family bonds so well defined

In herds of elephants, packs of wolves and ganders of geese

A daddy’s devotion is easily seen, No threats of court for support

The delicate sea horse and emperor penguin gently care for their fragile young

There is not a better display of bravery

Than a mamma bear, wolverine or badger

When faced with an impending foe

Woe unto he that crosses one of them!

So these qualities and many more

We as humans value and strive to acquire

When in the nature of these true st of creatures

They occur in life’s cycle in a desire for all to exist in harmony
