Just days after receiving her lucky rock
She returned home from her hospital room
After fifty-three days to hell and back
With her arm ‘round the strength of her husband
She slowly walked from one stall to the next
She cooed softly and spoke to the gentle mares
Stroking each velvet muzzle, scratching an ear
So grateful to touch again
The precious pieces of her life
Hearing that she was home, her grandniece cheered
“I knew it,” She shouted, “My lucky rock worked!”
“I knew it would, ‘cause when I first sent it,
My love was still on it
And it went into her and made her get well.
So now, she told me, when she holds her rock,
She feels that she and I
Are holding each others hands”
A passive participant in this tale
I am moved by the innocence
And the healing power
Of the pure love and faith of a child
This poem is like a bright ray of sunlight, so greatly needed in this darkened world. Yes, through the heart of a child, there is HOPE for the future!
Love & Light always and in all ways,

Thank you

you wrote about it,but what the miece said is just perfect, that
when she holds the stone it will be like holding her hand. I have tears thinking about it. I'm so happy that she made it through and
is out of the hospital! Blessings to all!
