So many other things crowd out time alone with God - I need more time with Him!

T ~ The solace of seeking Your mercy and grace
U ~ Unhindered by others in our quiet place
D ~ Dear Lord, may I be faithful and true
E ~ Ever sustained by moments with You
What a lovely write, Connie. Today was one of my rare days of solitude, something we all need from time to time. On the other hand, I find that when I do have moments of solitude, It is more and more difficult to concentrate on my Creator, simply because of all the problems we face daily, drawing my attention away from Him.
If you haven't already read it you might enjoy a little book titled "Practicing The Presence Of God" It is a great benefit to those who have a busy life with too little solitude.
This book consists of a 150 pages of Christian poetry about the end of time and the Second coming of Jesus Christ not as a servant but as a King, the King of kings. To bring righteousness and peace to the earth and restore the government of God! Peac
