This poem basically describes young Native American love realized by both for the very first time....

Poem Artwork

WARRIOR LOVE

Sun bronzed skin

and powerful build

swathes a tender heart

sweet as honey and fragile as glass

yearning to taste the sweet nectar of her kiss

Her love within burns bright

as the sun across the glistening sky.

Eyes full of adoration and pride

relish the contours of his body

and the gentle vigor of his touch.

Virgin desire burning deep within,
passions devour them in sweet, sultry bliss,
reaching the pinnacle of erotic rapture
merging their essence as one,
drowning them in the fire of desire..

Warrior and Squaw both now soar,

wild, majestic and free
like great birds of prey,
souls and hearts entwined in regal stance,
awash in the elixir of forever love.

Beautiful! Well done! I particularly liked the last verse. I wouldn't mind if all poetry in the world flowed like this.

Wonderful and beautiful poetry. I love the Native American Culture, they were my descendents. The movies don't paint a fair picture. Again beautiful write...

Through the Amazon by S. Oliver Eldridge

The drug called "The Shari" has been used for vision quests over many years. But, when all the rivers start drying up, the tribe must send a young hunter named Tomás on a much more important trip through the Amazon.
