Counting fingers Counting toes Smiling at her curved little nose Watching peacefully as she nursed An expert already without it being rehearsed Just born a few hours ago, she’s my precious so near I’ll sing her lullabies in her sweetly curved ear. I’ll hold on tight, never to let go She is my beautiful baby, I love her ever so.
