The waves roar, as the water splashes freely…
The sea creatures splash about.

The beach goers awe at this magnificent sight.
The green flash is seconds away, one beach goer shouts.

The lucky few who experience nature-
In all its wondrous opulence,

Surely are captive, to the glorious amount.
To what end, do we revere?

To know this freedom, it is auspicious lust.
We shall forever be captive dare I say, imprisoned by water so clear!

Shall I venture into the ocean?
Never to experience land again?

Taken away like a mermaid, by a mermaid-
Never to appear again.
