Because of the high speed of light, it is difficult to follow, examine, and therefore understand all phenomena connected to its behavior. Light's motion is wavelike in nature as is sound. These two natural phenomena have a lot in common, for example: propagation (plane and spherical wave), interference, the Doppler effect, refraction, reflection etc. The speed of sound in the air is about 9·105 times lower than the speed of light. That is why it is much easier to perceive, follow and measure certain phenomena present in sound, rather than in light.

Therefore, in order to understand with ease some phenomena connected with the light and treated by the theory of special relativity it should, at first, be best, to consider the propagation of sound in the air, and to compare it with the propagation of light in a vacuum.

The picture brought to mind
A profound past experience
Once when I had  seen myself in water
Like the  Golden Temple
A  mirror image, one that mystifies me

At that time I pondered what I felt
Now ,Observing the tree next to the temple
The perception in water is crystal clear
It looks like a perfect replica of itself

I think of Yogi Beraism the "same different thing"

I never could grasp how light and shadow reflect
And the illusion refraction can cause
Never could fathom the scientific explanation

What I perceive is my own spiritual connection

"I  Am" is the light that fuels the sun
The suns rays reflect and refract
As they strike an image it is replicated
in some instances as our shadow
In others, as in the water our mirror image

I believe this is what the biblical saying means 
"You are the image of God"
Not that He physically looks like us
That His image of light is reflected through us

For those who never had this image
Perhaps it will evoke some new ideas for you
As it did for me... or perhaps not...

Through this image I better understood the Trinity
Pure light, generating, lesser light ,and shadow
