I would say that this is a perfect rose, though it is the slight imperfections that make it so absolutely beautiful, just like women. A rubber stamp of anything loses its charm and personal grace. This is a beautiful poem, Eileen, and a wonderful tribute to this gorgeous rain-kissed rose.

Fabulous - the rain kissed rose is so aptly compared to a woman. Loved the pix and the write-especially the lines,
See too, how the core beckons

And so it does deserve its own poem and it has benefited from the Master Rain Rose poet to get that message out. Message? Whot message? Why the message that, like the rose, the poet is a many faceted person, rain or no rain. Well done.
