Your poem is lovely, with nature and love blended. Your photo is also lovely and allows your reader to see deeper into your poem.
Well done, Eileen.

There is a crimson stain in the forest
of my dreams
What an awesome line! Every time I see a deer in the road, i hold up traffic until it can get back on the side, that goes for anything in the wild. I am so tired of watching man keep on building and taking thier homes away. It seems to me there are enough shopping centers and condos to house China already! Great poem !!
Our beautiful planet is trickling thru the hourglass and soon there'll be nothing left of wilderness and unspoilt places. Let's enjoy what's left while we can.

It seems the birds join me as I start my deep woods chant: Beautiful verses, my compliments....errrr any crows about? Victor

That picture is fantastic. What color and beauty nature gives us.
Your poem is sad in the needless destruction of that beauty.
Well done, Eileen.
