Starting tomorrow moving week will be here when I can;-)

The night held a mysterious mood I sat at the outdoor cafe in a brood Alone because I have chosen to be With champagne and stars for company I have retreated from a world gone mad There's nothing left in it to make me glad I contemplate the future it looks grim Povery, disease, war,my sight grows dim Trying to see beyond societies ills While confusion and ignorance kill What have I to do with such things I have a happy soul my heart should sing Instead I'm filled with naught but ennui In a world that has too much misery
great poeming Eileen, surely can relate but I let common sense dictate. Sometimes as you say, "we have to learn to live in our world" and do the best we can there. Actually the world is too big and has too much going on to get tangled up in its web, just where the spider wants us
You are in my prayers, Eileen; hope everything goes smoothly! Take care, and do stop by when you get the chance! I miss you when you aren't here! Very well done yet again; brava~!
(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :D

A situation that can't be helped. We are in it and we must bear it. Victor
sometimes the world is too much with us, Eileen. my deepest hope for you is that you continue to celebrate the stars in your new home and also see the flowering of hope in the people you meet day by day. matter of fact, I think that's my hope for me, too. :) be well in the transition time, Dawn
I'm feeling as you do in your poem . You sound exactly as my thoughts and they resonate in your pen. Mariah and I have packed so much that the feeling of "being boxed in" has meaning. We are moving as well...bigger place with an art studuo. The US has no borders when three powrrs cut a groove.
