Poem Artwork

i can  find nothing of interest
i seem to have lost it, yet
i do care,and have concern
praying for all who need it most
i'm not depressed, just can't get
excited about anything,enough
to make me do something
i watch the flow as it goes by
my input unneccessary,it is
what it is,no one arouses me in
any way,no one has anything
important to say,today is just
another day that will go on its way
i can't change it i can't make it stay
no matter what i may do to intervene
it won't change its formulated scene
there's another day waiting to play
no matter what i do or what i say
only a higher force can change this reel

ET...2007

The really funny/sad thing is that even when we are at our worst, we can't seem to tear ourselves away from our addiction to writing, hang in baby.

I know just how you feel Eileen

These past few days I've been on idle, on pause,

stuck in neutral, marking time on a parade field

like a tin soldier, stuck in a foxhole

with no one to releive me,

just sitting here shooting the breeze

with myself, and losing the argument

Posting old write that I once presented

that I didn't allow enough time

to reiceve reviews

Just sitting here

Marking ime, stuck in gear.

Love & Peace

William

PS: Look what you have just done ...Eileen

Our Muse takes a rest at times so we can heal from old wounds. I understand your poem. It's always a part of me I try to understand when it comes around.

An illness as rough as yours was will impact not only your physical health but many other aspects of who you are. This reel will change as you get to feeling really better. I am glad that you wrote this, it reminds me of the times in my life when I didn't feel up to par.

God bless you. Kathy

Seems that the depression bug has struck: it has both Karla and myself. We will be praying for you too; we always do, and we always will. Hope you feel better soon; hang in there! We are!

Steps to recovery E.T. Write a poem, sorry you already started, next write another one, if these come out as good when you bored, can you imagine when you get back up to ...... step ten... Love this one, we all get to this stage, for a moment I thought you'd read my mind.
Kick a can, and write about your sore toe, we need to hear from you!
Blessings Jasmin Horst
