The day of woe is done
I'm basking in the sun
I'm looking to the sky
my best friends up high
stars are always there
let you know they care
planets offer refuge
from miseries deluge
moon offers lovers
gold glowing covers
clouds give soft glides
to cosmic joy rides
there are no put downs
in the land of crowns
no one will deceive
in the realms of believe
the land of lucid light
assures only delight
even in indigo night
the way is made bright
so all may share
none will despair
from lack of an ear
that's willing to hear
the celestial community
knows only unity
So here I shall stay
out of cold worlds way!
"cold world's way", the uncaring persons upon this orb -- for the rock knows too, the harmony of its peers in the universe divine -- peace and warm worlds to you -- JMW
Cosmic joy rides on indigo nights! I like that, I like the idea of hearing the celestial fizz of galaxies, to see the myriad of different colors of stars and planets, to read poetry by the light of a supernova...yes, who couldn't wish for a cosmic joy ride?
Soothing celestial goodness! You're in a good place out of harm's way. Nice to be galaxy surfing with you tonight, Eileen...I enjoyed my Cosmic Joy ride with Truth...be well.
The songs and art in this book are about our collective emergence after the pandemic and trauma of the last few years - comprised of 5 collections: World as Refuge, Where We Live, In Our Hands, Rhythms of Change and What We See & Sow.
A further collection of poems, many from years in the Middle East, but also the California San Francisco and Central Coast areas (Santa Cruz, Carmel, Big Sur, Berkeley, etc.).
