For it to bloom, you must
plant the seed
once put underground
it begins to feed
from what does it derive
nutrients needed to grow?
which are the group needed
and, how does it know?
Besides the nutricious soil
insects,debri,dead,and unknown
the earths underground holds
vast mysteries never shown
parts of everything in the universe
lies buried beneath our feet
with all the elements we are immersed
merged with Creator,we are complete
we are all part of the same dust
to love each other is truly a must

Were that it was though.
Humanity is, at times I think, too diverse.
And too complicated. It's one of the challenges
me thinks, our diversity, that makes life and its
inhabitants so easy to love or hate.
Loving is certainly the wiser choice but,
I have never been able to love everyone.
I am flawed, sadly, because of ugly
human nature. Too sensitive.
Still though I continue trying.

beneath our feet,sustenance for living things, including us -- to the earth, the mysteries we must trust -- dust,a most creative master, laced with intrigue -- Eileen, this is such an enlightening perspective -- a concept we fail to examine as often as we should -- man and earth, a brotherhood -- peace and love to you my dear friend -- JM
Yes indeed, truth and love, all is one, Ahimsa, and Ghandi, this kind of truth, God the Creator, that kind of truth to enlightenment, but it's a long reach into the future I think, before any of us can even consider reaching the bottom step. You certainly expressed it wonderfully , I especially like the last two lines.
