They say a picture paints a thousand words and so I took 300 pictures on holidays and hope to use some of them in my poetry. This one of my cousin looked so innocent that I thought it would be a great one. Love you Cuz.
Look at Him, so Innocently
Look at him as he stands so tall, In the distance, so innocently, Stand alone with all his thoughts, Of the way he wishes life were to be.
But in his silence, he holds all back, Those thoughts for yet another time, For the thoughts he is holding dear, Can only be kept within his mind.
Love, lust and laughter, Combined deep within his heart, For happiness he holds there, He should never want to part.
Yet he stands there in silence, As the breeze brushes him by, Those thoughts that seem to cross his mind, Cause him to softly sigh.
Softly spoken words pass his lips, A gentle smile is his alone to share, Lucky are those who enter his heart, For those he really do care.
Silence makes the world a better place, And so is the stillness of his way, As we silently accept his privacy, His thoughts, for yet another day

Wonderful words for the gentle heart. We know his silence makes the ocean around him seem still as he holds together like the sturdy keel yet those who know the mid ship can only watch it's slow decay. I understand your feelings. Lady J
I am both honoured and humbled by this offering and for once I am at a loss for real words, the only thing that comes to mind is thank you for thinking enough of me to write this poem...not sure I deserve it but it is from your heart and I truly appreciate that dear Cuz...
