That Smile

As I keep my tears deep inside,
It shows through my eyes,
But then I see that smile,
And stillness becomes my crys.

I realize that all is well
That all is fully understood,
And even if just for a moment
 The tears I shed are for the good.

Some tears are caused by heartbreak,
And others through sweet memories,
No matter what the cause is,
That smile can set tears free.

That smile can say the soft words,
That some long to always hear,
And some may not be the right words,
And help to cause that tear.

But how I long for that sweet smile,
That gentle look that's so divine,
And just for that one moment,
I feel the world has become all mine.

I drift of into a since of being,
Where and who I choose to be,
Because of that one gentle smile,
That seem to set my sadness free.
