I have often said that my husband and I married till death do us part and that is how I feel in my heart. I have often told him if he decided to leave, he has to take me with him, just so he knows how hard it will be to get rid of me if the thought ever occured. Not all people are as lucky as I am, after years of married life soon find there were differences that couldn't be resolved in any other way then seperation. Sometimes we don't take the time to realize the grass isn't always greener on the other side.
Devotion To You
You ask how long I'll love you, I say for evermore. And then just short years later, You turned and walked right out the door.
I asked how long is forever, I guess it's just a few short years long, As the tears roll down my face, I watched and you were gone.
Many years of understanding, Devotion to you, from a caring wife, Years that I have given, So you would have a great life.
Giving you all the pleasure, That life could bring your way, Making your life more comfortable, Each and everyday.
The children will ask for you, I'll turn when tears begin to flow, And then tell them a sad story, Of why their daddy chose to go.
One day when you think of all, You've walked away from in your life, You'll think of my devotion to you, Ans wish that I were still your wife.
Life won't be the same for you, You won't accept the changes you've had, You'll think of your home and family, And this dear will make you sad.

Yes, the grass is never greener, but we don't realize that. Pity but that's life. As you said, one day he'll regret what he did. Great poem, Victor
This is such a real story and one that is often all too true, and also someitmes one that is unavoidable no matter what. It is good though that some can survive and go on to live happily ever after.

Using Calgary as a backdrop the author satirizes the self-serving nature of the public as it continues to fatten itself, not only physically, but egotistically as well.
This collection of poetry addresses the nature of time, reflections on the natural world, the difficulty of loss,
contemporary social issues and gratitude for life.
Hugs to you
