I’d like to cook you dinner,
Share a wine that’s so divine,
But I could only do this,
Dear if you were mine.

I’d love to take a walk with you, 
Rest upon a blanket for a time,
But that too is forbidden,
Dear if you were only mine.

I’d love to sit and snuggle,
Have you kiss away my tear,
As we watch a sad love story,
If you were mine, I know you’d care.

I’d love to wake up in the morning,
Look into your big brown eyes,
But then again , if you were mine,
It wouldn’t come as a surprise.

I know that this is just a dream,
And I will wake in time,
But think of all the memories,
