Fuel Up On Pride

There are so many things in life,
We should be so thankful for,
Our Life partners and family,
  Wonderful neighbours out next door.

The many challengers life has offered,
Our writing skills, the time we share,
The many ways we’ve loved through life,
That show just how much we care.

We fuel up on pride and joy,
When we see where in life we’ve come,
Look at our children all grown up,
Be very proud at what we’ve done.

We give share a grin from ear to ear,
At the beauty which surrounds us,
Be ever so thankful to God up above,
For the years we’ve made a fuss.

Once again we fuel up on pride,
With each grandchild’s birth,
Look back on the up’s and down’s,
And know how much it all was worth.
