Well it may have taken a day or so but here you go Ed, I Will not be attending anymore of your cheese parties, for I have a very hard time trying to breathe and then my husband wants nothing to do with me after my return home.

Poem Artwork

Went To A Garden Party

 Went to a garden party,
At The Old Creek for some cheese,
Trays were being passed around,
Under my nose by Ed as a tease.

I spotted  some Gouda with cheddar,
I could really tell by the smell,
And when I tried the Jalapeno,
I felt I visited hot hell.

On my journey down Old Creek,
Some smells just made me sway,
As I come across strange oders,
That threw me by the way.

Some smelled of dirty feet,
While others  like Montery Jack,
Served with the perfect cracker,
Made a fine and dandy snack.

I watched as others were tempted,
To hold their nose as they ate,
Gosh how they were suckered in,
To finally take the bate.

I went to a garden party,
To Old Creek, where I'll go no more,
I'll not try the cheese that Ed offers,
That tasted like some dirty floor.

We need to breathe clean air again,
Keep the smells under lock and key,
Force the stinky cheese on others,
Just keep it away from me.

That's why I have the Eau de Cavern and only eat the gouda. In my purse I have an extra gas mask you can use.

Love this, Rose!!!

That so-called party was a joke, we were served stale cheese that made us choke and when they got us drunk they gave our fannies a grope! LOVE YA! SC

Oh, Rose, come back to the garden party - I forgot, I've got a can of febreze - scented rocky springs & cool. And if that doesn't help, well you can throw 'em cave guys in the rocky springs - smell them new cave guys!

I'm in your corner here Rose. Like just about everything else that I buy, I keep strictly to the old reliable, nothing but the best, made right in our own heartland, good old fashioned American Cheese; and yellow at that; not the orange stuff. It smells different. Very well done.

I am so sorry to hear this, Rose! And I really think you're giving up much too quickly. The fragrant odors of pungent cheese, dirty feet, hairy armpits, and moldy cave dust are truly an 'acquired art' which often takes some time and practice. Please re-consider for the next one, and we'll keep you on the 'Invite List!'
