Sometimes we are afraid that we will forget the important things and people in our lives, for I have noticed through the years that friends have come and gone and I have a terrible time remembering names from the past but a loved one lives in your heart forever. Then you remember them as the most beautiful thing in the world.
A Picture In My Heart
Lost for words, lost in time, Don't know where to turn, Something has changed in my life, In my heart I feel it burn.
An ache that is hurting, And it just won't go away, A memoryof a dear loved one, That too soon has gone astray.
I know I have this picture, I've painted dear in my heart, One of love and friendship So we'll never be apart.
Time will slowly pass on by, My normal life will soon appear, But you will always be in my heart, Love will cause my tears.
I picture Tom all the time around the house, in my heart when I think of him I want to shed tears of sorrow. Am so into myself now, and doing without him is not fun. I do know I will see him again sometime, meanwhile I have to just picture him in my heart.
