I jumped out of bed this morning with the strangest feelings that came over me, I thought but nothing would come to mind. Than all of a sudden it came to me, my husband asked if I could prepare some finger foods for their luncheon today. I am so gratful for being a morning person and for frozen Quiches.

Strangest Feelings Came Over Me

The strangest feelings came over me,
As I got out of bed today,
I felt I was in this enormous hurry,
That something was in my way.

I stood and thought for a moment,
But I just couldn’t seem to see,
Last evening there was something,
That you so kindly asked of me.

The thoughts were quickly lost,
As I went on my own merry way,
But the strangest feelings came over me,
As I got out of bed today.

My memory kicked in at 5:45,
But soon it would be time to go,
I turned the oven on 375,
Thank God it wasn’t too slow.

Your food it is ready, just in time,
You’re cleaning the car for to go,
Your quiches are ready just in time,
You hardly had time to know.

I should have realized early,
When I jumped right out of bed,
The strangest feelings came over me,
Playing those games in my head.

Been there and done that...my husband works evenings and doesn't get home until about eleven p.m and often asks then if I can prepare something for the next day...many times I have forgotten his request, or really didn't hear him ask when he woke me from the couch where I often fall asleep waiting on him, but as you put it so well...thank goodness that I am a morning person and for ovens that heat quick and even still for microwaves...great write!

Rose, I call those moments senior moments...I think we all do this because our minds are filled with things we must do or need to do. I enjoyed this a lot!

I jumped out of bed this morning to see if the blood sugar reading of nearly 300 was better. I had the strangest feeling when it was near yesterday morning's reading. A quiche would have been good.

Too funny Rose and brings back a memory. Deb used to have to bring things into her store for luncheans, bake sales etc but being a working mother with three kids and a hubby she never always had time or energy to bake. her trick...grab a tupperware container stop at Sobeys buy Muffins or cookies and stick them in container, nobody ever questioned her only complimented her on how great he muffins were.

I jumped out of bed this morning with the strangest feelings that came over me.

I seem to get that a lot these days, but in my case, I think it's advancing age, and retreating memory. And your hubby got quiche - Wow!
