Lost In The Silence
I look your way and I see it, A teardrop falls by your way, Something has sadden your heart, Something has darkened your day.
Let me shed on you a little glow, A smile that will shine a light, I’ll share a little shed of happiness, To make all the dark days bright.
Not a word you share from your lips, For the sounds as I hear you weep, As you consume me in your sadness, Lost in the silence I do creep.
I speak tender words you long to hear, I share with you my heart, my piece of mind, I give to you the gift I’ve long received, That tender gift of true love over time.
It’s in the way we smile, In every word we seem to share, And even while lost in the silence, We can feel it through each tear.

The "sounds of silence" treasured beyond comprehension. Beautiful poetry, I loved this one.
