Life is strange although we are the ones who make the final decisions on what direction we take in life, we seem to make it challenging every minute always standing on the edge of life as though we were blind to the outcome.
Standing On The Edge
As I walk along the wharf
I feel myself head close to the water
Standing on the edge and wondering
What will my next move be
I close my eyes and I feel it
The gentleness, the calm of the water
I feel as though I am drifting
Into another world without a thought
No fear of what can or will happen
Here I am standing on the edge
Like looking into the unknown
As though it were the afterlife
What it will be or what it has to offer
Everyday we take a chance as we
Open our eyes to greet a new day
Drive our car, ride the bus
Meet new people and wonder
Where will this day lead us
What direction in darkness
Like standing on the edge blindfolded
Making new decisions that
May change our lives forever
Pleasing to one or all
But it is our life as we make it
Standing on the edge of decisions

Beautifully serene photograph! Deep in contemplation, searching always searching and yet never really knowing is it right or not. Well said and leaves one to think a little harder....
One of your best, and I can feel your mind mulling over the possibilities and wondering at the way things do end up working out. I don't think things ever quite turn out the way we imagine but still...what would life be but boring if everything we wanted came true. Well done Cuz and definately a new turn for you.
