There has been a few members of our DEN FAMILY taken sick over the past while and I am thankful that the Angels are watching over them and keeping them safe to return them to us.
Thinking of you always.
Angels Watch Us As We Rest
I close my eyes and make a wish,
To feel better in a day,
I feel weak and ask a favour,
To feel better in some small way.
He sends an Angel to watch me,
To protect me while I rest,
I have to believe He knows,
For me now what is best.
I may take discomforth in a needle,
The hours they desturb my rest,
But He had given them the knowledge,
To know for me what is best.
He's chosen to safely return me,
To the family I've come to respect,
Helping me to continue to share my life,
With my words they all accept.
It just isn't the time to leave,
Not right to say goodbye,
The Angels watch me as I rest,
It's not my time, no need to cry.

Beautiful poetry! I've always believed God sends His angels to watch over us. In Psalms 91:11 says, For He shall give His angels charge over thee to keep thee in all their ways. That has always been one of my favorite scriptures in the Bible.
Rose you have such a giving heart and this piece just tears at mine. Hope that you as well as many others are doing better and keep doing better. Until then in my prayers all will stay....

Hmmmmm is this about anyone in particular you know or just a couple of the old timers on the den who decided to check in to the Nurses Torture Ward of their local hospital. Actually cuz you must hear me when I speak for this did capture my experience pretty well.
How true, angels are always there and come in many forms. A beautiful poem.

What a beautiful and heartfelt write. I have been busy closing a house deal. We are building our dream home near downtown on the water! I am absolutely swamped with picking out colors and flooring. I will be off and on periodically - but will try to review as many as I can.
Thank you Rose for this most beautiful poem. I'm sure those who are sick will be warmed and feel better because of it. I didn't know about Fee and George,until last night. I'm keeping them in prayer!
Yes they do, Rose, yes they do. I know they did when I was so sick in the hospital; and God got me through all that! I may not be as I Was, but I am alive, and a lot healthier than I was when I'd gotten so sick! I thank God for His grace, His mercy, His healing power! Very well penned, Rose; brava!

Karla took a picture of me in the ICU (I let her), and compared to the guy above, I looked pretty bad: besides the heart monitor, I had a tube in the nose, nasal prongs stuck in my nose, and an IV, and I was as white as a sheet!! I looked like death warmed over!! LOL :)
