We don't often think of all we have been given in life for so many put a price tag on things that are really worthless in the end. Imagine someone to love till the end of time, someone to enjoy life's beauty and share a new born life with. The simple things in life and we so often get annoyed when we hear the rain drops on our roof or a baby's cry that wakes us through the night or the sun that shines through our window blocking our view from TV or the bird outside singing for our entertainment. Little things that don't cost a penny. These are the things that move me.

What Moves Me

Ever sit back and wonder bout things,
That surround us each given day,
Sometimes we seem to be disturbed,
At certain things that come our way.

The feel of a little babys breath,
The pitter pat of the rain,
The sweet music from a bird outside,

The sun that shines again and again.

The snow as it glistens upon the ground,
The ocean as it gently seems to call,
Mother Natures beauty of all surroundings,
This is what moves me most of all.

Not of that sports car parked in the drive,
Or the diamond upon your hand,
I don’t seem to care for the fancy things in life,
For they’re not things that I demand.

A friendship is a great gift to have,
A smile and someone’s love,
For those are the things that move me most,
The gifts given from God up above.

So when you feel that you’ve been short changed,
On all the things that life has to give,
Just think of all that you’ve been given so far,
Know that your life’s worth all that you live.

Don't you dare to hear Fee, a harley with a sidecar is a motorbike sacrilege! ! ! You sure didn't write this poem thinking on you know who? Well, thanks anyways, it was splendid.

So good, I almost felt like it was written for me especially...and just the beginning of this week, I saw two RAINBOWS in the exact part of the sky (the NE corner of my front property) 2 days in a row!
Now if that isn't a "sign" I don't know what is! Your poetry is consistently GOOD!

So right you are dear cus as I prepare to go down to pick up the apple of my eye for the night but it sure would be nice to have one little old sportscar or Harley trike sitting in the driveway.

Just think of all that you’ve been given so far

The older I get, the more I seem to do that, and by far, the simple things in life, are truly the best.
