No one knows what others go through in their relationship. On the outside everything seems to be so perfect while behind closed doors one of the worst storms can be brewing. Breaks my heart to think of what some are going through.

A Storm Is Brewing
Written:January 11, 2009
By: Rose Marie Rideout

Angry and shooken,
loud with a fear,
Hurting and destroying,
causing eyes to tear.

Cold and broken,
lonely with a chill,
Curled up in a corner,
Noises so shrill.

Scared and frightened,
Again out in the cold,
Screaming forceful words,
Hurting and bold.

I say a storm is brewing,
Within those four walls,

Winds whistling fiercly,
The sky’s about to fall.

A well painted house,
With a picket fence so white,
No one hears the screaming,
The fear throughout the night.

Indeed a storm is brewing,
Saddness is in the air,
Tears a flodding the earth,
Another lives in fear.

This sounds like the worst domestic abuse one can imagine. It is so tragic and how the victims feel trapped and unable to reach out for help. Another emotive piece, Rose, one that tears at the heart. Hugs, Elizabeth

There is always sadness, it seems in life,
we must overcome fear... is the message
Hope is within the storm... I hope ;)

Rose,
You speak a serious and sad truth, often denied or hidden away, as Kate says 'inward hell' Well done, Sweet Lady!

Don't we know it, in some shape or form. Sadly, more often than we care to admit. Outward heaven, inward hell. All too real for many caught in an incompatibility trap. Sobering and intense, as well as moving. xx

Well penned, Rose! Behind many doors, many children and wives are being hurt and abused. Their storms are already raging!

Domestic violence are the worst kind of violence, because the victim is always the one that shouldn't live in fear because is supposed to be protected by love and respect.

So glad this doesn't describe your marriage, Rose. But many relationships are stormy ... very well penned.
