Thanks to Larry Linville, he got me dreaming before I go to sleep. All too often I spend days wondering about dreams I have that don't have a thing to do with my life or people within my life.

Sometimes Late At Night

January 26, 2009
Written By: Rose Marie Rideout

Sometimes late at night they creep,
Before I have a chance to sleep,
Not knowing what the shadows are,
For I can’t seem to see that far.
They make me hear things that squeak,
They make me look at things so bleek.
I then have a horrid nightmare,
Then cry in my sleep with fear.
I cannot understand why,
Sometimes my dreams make me cry.
I wake and try to understand,
The meaning of this dream of man.
No matter how hard I try,
I wake to the tears I have to dry.
They seem to scare me of the dark,
In the distance I hear a dog bark.
Another makes my horrid dream a fright,
As I dream sometimes late at night.
I wake and wonder for days,
Can’t understand, my dream’s a haze.
Can’t make no since of this horrid fright,
That I dream sometimes late at night.

Well as I sit here at three in the morning awokened by something that is intangible but wide awake just the same I can sympathize. Maybe a nightmare, maybe stress, maybe worries who knows but when I am awake I am awake so now it is kill time until time kills me. LOL Great write dear Cuz.

The dream world is a strange place and sometimes has nothing at all to do with our concious lives. Well written Rose.

I do dream too most every night. Can remember thm too. Some are not nice either, I just try to analyze them the next morning. Some things we eat before bedtimes I am told can cause weird dreams. I don't know the truth of that either. Take those dreams literally and be glad you wake up in the morning with them not coming true as bad things happening to you. With you all the way on this one.

Well expressed as sometimes what we dream has nothing to do with our daily lives, but for the dreams we carry and passing thoughts running through our minds.......

Be always safe,
Karen

This one sort of made me shiver.... I hope this isn't happening to you? It is really difficult sometimes when we do experience a strange and creepy dream and it lingers in our minds..... our subconscious is something else... good write nonetheless.... hugs, lindalaw

Our souls cringe at sights we cannot see, but only in our nightmares are these spirits loosed to work their devilment, among the dark shadows of our ghostly minds. Alas, while the caretaker sleeps, the ghouls take over the cemetery, only to just as quickly return their crypts just before our eye's open at dawn's first light of consciousness.
