The Luck of The Irish &
The Four Leaf Clover

A four leaf clover, found in a field,
So many traditional beliefs,
The true Irish, Faith, Hope, Love & Luck,
Count as one for each leaf.
Even back to the day of Eve,
She carried from the garden a clover,
With four beautiful leaves,
That she used to cover her over.
A clover used to fight evil spirits,
Known as a special charm,
Carried to protect all,
Keeping them from surrounded harm.
They say if you find yourself one,
Luck shall come your way,
Ownership of a four leaf clover,
Will bring good things your way.
Not just on St. Patrick’s Day,
But the whole year through,
Believe in Faith, Hope, Love & Luck,
In all things that you say and do.

Rose enjoyed reading your lovely poem "The Luck of The Irish and The Four Leaf Clover". My duahgter still looks for 4 leaf clover any time of the year and most of the time she finds them too.
