When love slips by the wayside and one feels empty and lonely, things happen that isn't meant to be, after reading what others have written this is what I've come up with. Keep that fire burning.

She Couldn’t Let Him Go July 4, 2009 By: Rose Marie Rideout Into her room he entered, He held her tightly in his arms, Whispered sweet words in her ear, Using all his charms. Oh how she longed for romance, She knew it’s been too long, As she felt his lips on her’s, She knew that it was wrong. Chorus How could she long for another, When she knew it wasn’t right, But couldn’t understand why, She couldn’t win this fight. They touched & kissed all night, Deep inside she wanted to say no, But loved the gentle way he had, Couldn’t stand to see him go. She knew he had another to, That special love just didn’t show, Because she was missing it too, She couldn’t let him go. Repeat Chorus But she couldn't understand why, She couldn't win the fight.

Very well done, Rose. But why do I get the impression that this is a love between two that know they should not be within the arms of the other because they belong in the arms of others?
