The excitment of the Christmas season fills our every moment which in the long run stresses us to the hilt, although we don't realize it at the time, then comes the calm after the storm and it proves to be very welcoming.

The rush is over, all is calm,
Another day closer,
To a new year ahead.
New dreams to dream,
In the silence of the night,
As we rest quietly in our bed.

Peaceful clouds surround us,
Soft shadows in our mind,
Simple pleasures await us now,
No plans to fail in life,
In the silence of the night,
Just a new dream to fulfill somehow.

The sky is still, the night is blue,
All my dreams are filled,
With sweet thoughts of you,
Another day closer to fulfill a dream,
In the silence of the night,
A life of happiness that’s true .
