If just for one moment,
I could see through God’s eyes,
I’d see the hurt and pain we cause,
I'd feel the tears we cause Him to cry.
If just for one moment,
I could travel the world to be,
Someone to help & care for others through life,
What a difference I’d make & all would see.
If just for one moment,
I could change the world with what I’d say,
I'd chose those mighty words that mean,
For each to Love, Care, Laugh and Play.
If just for one moment,
I could rule the world for the good,
The law would say we have to accept & love,
ALL God’s children, the way that we all should.
If just for one moment,
We could pull all man together in love,
Think of the smiles shared & tears wiped away,
How we would please Our Lord up Above.
If just for one moment,
We would all work together, stop and see,
The difference we’d all make,
If things were the way they're meant to be.
