What Our Father ask of us

The Family arrived on Good Friday,
Here for the long weekend,
I was dressed and off to church,
Offered prayers for family & friends.
I looked up at the alter,
I saw the Purple coverings,
That hid the crucifix,
Set my mind to just one thing.

He gave up His life for us,
He took the blame for all,
Yet he finds love & forgivness,
Each time we seem to fall.
He loves us unconditionally,
For who we are & what we do,
The way we choose to live our lives,
Yes He loves all His children, even you.

There are those who disagree,
For the lives that some are living,
But we are not to judge those,
It is Him who’s always so forgiving.
It is our Father above,
In the end who’ll have the say,
and judge us for what we do in life,
For what we say & do each day.
I ask our Father to forgive those,
Who think they have the right,
To make them love their family,
Just pray for them each day & night.
Think of their caring hearts
The loving things they do,
When you fall & need them,
Tell me are they there for you.

Yes He died upon the cross for us,
For all the wrong we,ve done,
He asked that we be forgiving,
Loving EACH & EVERYONE.
I cry tears this time of year,
As we celebrate the Saviors return,
For He was crucified for our sins,
Giving us life, that we may learn.

To be more caring and loving,
To accept others and not judge their way,
For He is our Father,
Who’ll help guide us everyday.
He’ll be our Judge & Jury,
When our final day is here,
He’ll forgive if we are good & love others,
With our love we always share.
