Those Memories

I think of the invisible,
Yet I see you before me.
I hear the intimate silence,
Yet the enchanted voice is clear.
I remember the strength of our love,
Though you are no longer here.
I feel the warmth of your arms,
Yet it is bitterly cold.
I feel the beat of your heart,
Though you are gone I’m told.

Those Memories are mine,
Cannot be tossed aside.
Memories of another place & time,
When, with your love I did abide.
Stolen moments of my heart beats,
Smiles, I shared with only you,
Tears of a caring devoted love,
Given to me daily by you.
I have those memories for always,
As they are more than a few.

Lost, never to be found,
In the dark days that lay ahead.
Tears that flow uncontroled,
As I rest my weary head.
I wonder do you still think of me,
Of what our life was once filled with.
A heartbeat and smiles,
Warm touch sealed with a kiss.
Those Memories are mine,
