I'm caught up into's world where too many young couples get married without knowing the meaning of Death do we part. It takes two to make it happen and two to make it work, I know only too well that don't always happen as both Fred and I were married to others before.

A marriage, a fullfillment
Remember one day at a time,
Love shared by each other,
Always keep it close in mind.
Think of all the little things,
So pleasing in yourlife,
Making coffee for my hubby,
As he for me turns on the lights.
He shares with me his inner thoughts,
That come from within his heart,
I let him know he’smore important,
As with each new day we start.
Love is something we do,
Not something we just say,
It’s a job we work hard at,
To make love stronger everyday.
We don’t say hurting words,
Words that can destroy,
We are there to understand,
Occassionaaly asking why.
We know what our names are
The ones we usedfrom the start,
As with age we remember them,
Sweetheart & darling from our heart.
A kiss goodbye before leaving,
May be the last one we get,
I love you each & everyday,
So we’ll never live with regret.
You are partakers of a recipe that will never grow old or stale, Rose, and which will bring you both satisfaction and fulfillment every day of your shared mortal/immortal lives. I appreciate this ESPECIALLY as it comes from a pair who have already experienced what it means to go through the trauma of living without these principles in a relationship - or at least, for them somehow not to have been upheld by one or other of the partners, for whatever reason, and thus causing the pain of separation. These are words we can listen too and heed, in the knowledge you have "been there" before. Bless you both for sharing your acquired wisdoms and joys of a beautiful marriage that will go the distance and that is 100% of the heart. xx
How true sis, if it is true love its worth the work to repair, that is how most of us have kept our marrage's thriving. I for one am so glad I never gave up. Sadly too many opt for divorce.

A marriage that lasts through all the trying times and the hard times are the best. When you get old you can remember all the triumphs. That is why my hubby and I never parted.
Great advice to follow. It's great to see someone so dedicated to making her marriage a lasting one. When things get tough, love makes the difference, but love has to be tenacious and commitment has to be diligently pursued, no matter what the storms that arise!
