We had the most wonderful time while in Varadero, Cuba. Everything about this place was P E R F E C T. Can't wait to go back. The most perfect thing was being with my husband.
That Something I Can See in You February 24, 2011
By Rose Marie Rideout
When I look at you,
Deep within your heart & soul I see,
What God has put together,
All the things so tenderly.
I see your smile, I feel your warmth,
I know what we have is true .
Your place your honest love with me,
That something I can see in you.
That something I need, I want,
That something I can’t live without each day.
Your touch, your feel, your needing me,
A feeling I never want to go away.
Bright stars that shine each night,
As we savour the taste of a good wine.
The soft glow of candles flickering,
Making love one night at a time.
For your eyes are wanting and calling to me,
I quiver at a love so very true .
I’ll always want & yearn for, That something special I see in you.
This was an amazing tribute to the man you love, Rose! The obvious radiance of your love simply shines in your words! Sounds like you had a great trip south....
Rose,
In these times of divorces and separations this is so refreshing to read. I hope you and your husband feels the same way when you both are old and grey. God bless you.
To share this kind of love and desire with the one you are married to is indeed a very special treat...savor it well.Great tribute write my dear cuz.

Such lovely sentiments well-shared, Rose; and the intended recipient of such beautiful thoughts (your husband) is fortunate indeed. Love and best wishes to you both,
Breath taking sweet Rose.... just like you and the love you both share ..so romantic....sighhhh...keep smiling both of you..foreverrrr...Hugssss,much love too both of you...
Everything about this is just love as we all dream it would be.
It is so seldom seen- yet seems so simple. Why not love this way?
Thankfully- you don't see why not.
All it takes is for people to cooperate with love...this love.
Wonderful poetry indeed.
This book represents a thirty-day period of my poetry journal. Each poem addresses
the dominant thoughts occupying my mind during the early morning hours of a given
day.
Robin Ouzman Hislop's poetry is certainly in dialogue with some of the key architects of the 'poetics of indeterminacy' – both the Modernist strands represented by the likes of Beckett and Stein, and the postmodernist strands represented, initially,
