Why I Write

I write just so I can share,
With all my friends and family,
To show how much I care.

I write of love and anger,
Of happiness and fear,
Most of all I write, because I care.

I write of the homeless,
Of those who have so much more,
I write for all I know and come to adore.

I write for the hurting,
For those who suffer every day,
I write for all those folks along my way.

I write for our Blessed Military,
For those who fight with pride,
I write for God above, to be their guide.

I like to share the words I write,
For all who like to read,
I like to share my words for all those in need.

I write for all that's hungry,
The rich and many more,
I write for everyone, it’s all I do adore.
