Cold Sleepless Nights

Tonight as I lay in my cold lonely bed
I think of the empty nights that lay ahead.

I dream of the days I’ll spend all alone,
Many long nights here in our home.

I lay in the dark and wonder of you,
Are you really happy, now that we’re through.

Do you lay awake thinking of me,
Are dark sleepless nights all that you see?

Can we resolve what has gone wrong,
And join together a love that’s so strong.

For I can’t spend another night without you,
Please tell me my darling, our love isn’t through.

Put a stop to the sleepless lonely nights,
Let’s call it a mistake and stop all the fights.

Tell me do you lay awake, thinking of me,
Are dark sleepless nights all that you see?
