As we get older, will we be just a faded memory to our family and our grandchildren. We get so use to seeing them and their kisses and hugs and all of a sudden they stop.

I often think of time, when we get old, Will the love of our children grow cold. Will the grandkids still come to see, And share their love with you and me.
Will they feel the pain, deep in our heart, Hoping their love for us will never part. I know over years we all grow old, But love for us should never go cold.
We love you so and always will, Our love for you was always a thrill. We remember when you were young, We played with you and had so much fun.
Will we be just a faded memory, Because we've become an elderly. Our love for you will never fade away, We love you more with each passing day.
I watch others, seem lonely and sad, Wishing for love they once had.
Praying for one day lost in a memory,
Just because they've become an elderly.
