I'm Praying For a Miracle

I pray to God each night above,
Hoping He will show His love.
To cure all those who are sick,
To take away their illness quick.
 

I wait for an answer night and day,
Time's going by, I continue to pray.
How long must I wait to hear from Him,
Please dear God, don't wait till time is dim.
 

So many are suffering in pain,
They feel they have nothing to gain.
Why do murderers and rapists go free,
When the innocent suffer needlessly.
 

I've prayed for years and I've cried tears,
They say trust in the Lord, he always hears.
Sometimes my feelings fall low,
It seems Dear God your answers are slow.

I know Lord  that I'm not perfect,
But I pray to God above night and day.
But so many people are so very sick,
Please Dear Lord, give a miracle quick.
