(the sky and even more...)

Infinity is with me,
in my room.
The sky can fit in,
become the endless ceiling
married to the eternity within.

I won't cry.
Tears mean loss
that comes unwanted
to a soul that's unprepared.
And I win.

I want choice.
Opening the trompe l'oeil painting
of a door;
it hides the squalid cage
of inertia.

I'm finding freedom
- yes, I am -
within walls of endless doubt
mixed with knowledge.

There's a tree,
up, above my bed,
I see a nest
and the eyes of a bird
inviting me to fly.

In lightness, meditation,
I travel far away,
feel the wind, words and whispers
behind cold windows and hot walls.

The whole world is in a nutshell,
an afternoon,
in my room.
