Play it again Maestro, as you lead nature's symphony in an eternal chorus of springtime's rejuvenation,
Lord:your ways are beyond my simple understanding in such a vast place where home is a picture;
Many men have prayed to be tossed back to the place they began for a second chance.
To place their standard in a home they had mocked before finding that heart was needed,
To seed a place that appeared to be dismal: but in reality the pioneer spirit is heeded;
Taking charge of the streets where children can roam safely unimpeded in playful bliss.
Kissing the suns sweet rays as the cool breezes of generations cast a perfect frame on picnics,
Sharing a caring hand that commands the attention of neighbors who look for guidance;
When their reliance on cash rather than significant others was lost along the way.
A new chain of meaning sounds a ringing of forged brotherhoods compliance,
Where color of the skin or ownership of land has no mark of moral success;
Yet: today there are still those who suppose success is a mark of letters.
Fettering a hint that life is more than substance: owning more is not a mark of being better,
For consider the birds of the air or the trees : both get an abundance of nourishment ;
Decorated in many colors of green foliage: their feathered wings and many branches brush the sky.
While men and women fight for that last line of new clothing made with some sweat shops spite,
With ghosts of kids harnessed as forgotten machines instead of enjoying learned books;
Where hopes of adventure and blue sky can mesmerize the innocent heart of those seeking truths elixir.
Oh teach them truth and raise up that standard of youths great grace,
Keeping pace with the time and seasons that repeat a forgotten history of chance;
Choosing to lead a nation in truth and justice for the sake of One Nation under God.
Indivisible in the spirit of helping each other to accomplish the building of a capital of Loves romance,
By turning around to face the pasts new beginnings when quality of life was measured by happy smiles;
Attached to a fullness of life planted with a tasting of the fruit of children who nourished your heart.
Sparking a domino effect that reflected in the happy cries of towns crowded with a harmony of growing,
A pearl of great price that could never fade or decay with rusted gluttony,
For this place could be overflowing with the cup of everlasting providences grace.
Sheila

It truly could be, if only we allowed it to happen. And the children of today are truly the only hope for tomorrow.
Quite a powerful piece, Larry.
Chaos and anarchy aren't the Maestro teachings, good moral and orden are, and many, in their arrogance, are building within themselves a new babel tower and forgetting to take care of Nature.
