The lyrics flow
Along a living river
Of music,
Expressing and
Bringing forth
The deepest stirrings
Of our hearts,
Our minds,
And our souls.
To know us,
To know what we
Are thinking,
What we are feeling,
Listen to what
We hear as
We commune,
One on one,
With the singer
And the song.
Beautiful. So often while listening to a beautifully written and delivered song, how I relate to it as though it were written exactly for me. Perhaps every time that I write a poem, I should think about those enduring songs that we all relate to like my senior high school prom theme song, You'll Never Walk Alone. Very inspiring.
